Youth Activities Committee
My name is Alice Kramer and I am the new chair for Youth Services here at Beth Tikvah. The youth groups are an integral part of giving our children a place to be in our jewish community. I encourage all parents to get their children involved in the youth programs. The year is already being planned for our youth groups at Beth Tikvah. This is a wonderful way for your young children and teenagers to be involved in their community. I look forward to working with the advisors and seeing our youth groups grow and thrive.
Help plan
activities for our youngest youth groupers -- and work with
Junior BethTY and BethTY kids and their advisors.

From the May 2008 issue of Tikvah Topics:
• Jr. Jr. BethTY hosted a Kids’ Club event on April 6. Seventeen kids stayed
after the 2nd session of Religious School from 1:30 – 3:00 PM to eat and “hang
out.” A couple of kids asked on the way out if we'd be offering it again, and
there were some inquiries about summer offerings. Watch “This Week” and
Tikvah Topics for more information.
• Jr. Jr. BethTY will be having a spring get together, proposed for May 18, in the courtyard
if it is nice.
•
Five members of Jr. BethTY attended the NFTY weekend at GUCI April 4 – 6, and
members of BethTY attended Regionals at GUCI April 10 – 13.
•
I would like to thank the advisors for all of these groups for their commitment to
providing activities for the children of Beth Tikvah. They are: Jennifer Sanderow – Keshet;
Erin Rabinowitz and Karen Pollens – Jr. Jr. BethTY; Seth Fliegel – Jr. BethTY; and Matt Mazer– BethTY. They have all done a wonderful job this year.
Here is a look at some upcoming social activities for the youngest members of Beth Tikvah. Be sure to get them on your calendar. We’ll be sending out notices via Tikvah Topics and “This Week at Beth Tikvah,” plus Evites.
May 4 – Activity TBD.
