Introducing Congregation Beth Tikvah

Congregation Beth Tikvah offers a wide range of educational, spiritual and social opportunities. Three different sessions of Religious School classes are held on Sundays and Hebrew School offers a choice of two sessions each Wednesday afternoon. Family education abounds with monthly events. Adult Hebrew classes are offered at several levels. Rabbi Huber conducts two seminar classes each year, plus a monthly group meets for lunch and discussion in downtown Columbus. Additionally, there are several book discussion and study groups as well as weekly Saturday Shabbat Torah Study group gathering. True to Beth Tikvah’s egalitarian structure, we have a ‘working’ Board of Trustees. Our committee chairs seek out and welcome new faces to invest new ideas and enthusiasm to their committees. Sisterhood, Brotherhood and the 4 levels of Youth Groups are growing and energized, providing many social and service events for their members. Oneg Shabbats are quite special; in that they are often sponsored by members in celebration of a family simcha or to honor fellow congregants. They provide not only delicious noshes after each Shabbat service, but are also wonderful opportunities to connect with other members and to welcome visitors to our congregation. We look forward to the opportunity to meet and warmly welcome you to our Beth Tikvah family.
