DEDICATED FUND OF THE MONTH (December 2007):
Facility Improvement Fund
This fund provides dollars for special beautification or enhancement projects within the synagogue and/or the grounds that may be outside the budget of our regular operating fund.

Please consider our dedicated funds for your contributions:

THE ADULT EDUCATION FUND ~ Supports and supplements Jewish educational programs for adults in the congregation.

THE BOARD TRAINING/LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT FUND ~ Provides funds to supplement the cost of seminars, conferences and training which are valuable for the growth and education of the temple’s leadership.

THE CARING COMMUNITY FUND ~ Reaches out to members during times of need, such as a family death, illness, or unemployment; cheer hospitalized members and welcome new babies; and offer assistance to our senior members.

THE CEREMONIAL OBJECTS FUND ~ Helps purchase ritual objects to beautify the temple or enhance temple life.

KIDS on the ROAD for EDUCATION (K. O. R.E.) ~ Helps support the annual Confirmation Class trip, Israel trips and other educational experiences.

THE FACILITY IMPROVEMENT FUND ~ Provides funding for special beautification or enhancement projects within the synagogue and/or the grounds that may be outside the budget of our regular operating fund.

THE JEWISH CAMP FUND ~ Helps families to send their children to over-night Jewish camps.

THE LIBRARY FUND ~ Purchases books for Beth Tikvah's library.

THE MUSIC FUND ~ Provides for the musical enrichment and enjoyment of the congregation.

THE PRAYER BOOK FUND ~ Purchases the congregation's Sabbath and Festival prayer books.

THE RABBI'S FUND ~ Helps support rabbinical study and worthy causes selected by the Rabbi.

THE RELIGIOUS SCHOOL FUND ~ Provides support for innovative programs not covered by operating funds, purchases audio-visual and technology equipment, and underwrites supplemental student activities.

THE SOCIAL ACTION FUND ~ Supports the social action goals and programs of the congregation.

THE SPECIAL EVENTS & BIMA FLOWERS FUND ~ Provides floral arrangements and refreshments for Shabbat services and other ceremonial occasions.

THE YOUTH ACTIVITIES FUND ~ Provides scholarships to NFTY-OVR events and other worthy youth group activities.
