Every year, the B.R.E.A.D. Organization invites its membership and public officials to the Nehemiah Action meeting for updates and to make commitments on current activities. This year the meeting will cover Job Creation in the Linden Area, Restorative Justice for Juveniles, Creation of a City-Wide ID Card and Elimination of Gang Violence.
This year’s meeting is on Monday, May 1, at 7 p.m. (pre-meeting at 6:40 p.m.) at the Celeste Center of the Ohio State Fairgrounds. People are urged to arrive around 6:15-6:30 p.m to allow time for parking and finding friends in the crowded hall. Parking is free, but car pooling is encouraged. There is handicap parking and there will be people in the parking lot to direct you.
A bus will again be scheduled to leave from the Beth Tikvah parking lot for the Celeste Center. Call Abby Goldbaum to reserve your seat and get more information.
Tickets are free, but are required for quick entry to the hall. They will be available in April from Rabbi Rick, Manny Luttinger, Abby Goldbaum, Jane Mitchell and the Beth Tikvah lobby desk.
