The goal of this group is to put the "FUN" back into Fund Rai$ing - while developing events that will generate additional income for the temple. There's been a bit of a hiatus - so new people and ideas are really welcomed.

From the May 2008 Tikvah Topics:

• I want to thank everyone who made our Casino Royale Fundraiser so successful. With the help of my wonderful committee and all those who attended we raised approximately $9500 to benefit Beth Tikvah. I heard so
many wonderful comments from the evening. There was plenty of delicious
food, homemade desserts, and great games and activities.

• Committee members included: Darla & Lee Abraham, Bunny Cohen,
Debbie Ecker, Mike Fliegel, Sherill Herzfeld, Christie & Fred Kaufman, Emily Kreindler, Susan Levine, Cheryl Mandell, Suzanne Parr, Nancy Pawliger, Patti & Sid Price, Debbie & Larry Romanoff, Ellen Romer, Diane Saks, Elaine Selekman, Marcia Simon, Jo Stern, Laura Zakin and others who pitched in when I was called out of town. I especially want to thank Marcia Simon for organizing and creating the decorations; Emily Kreindler for doing the
invitations, program and decorations; Elaine Selekman for organizing all the donations; Darla Abraham for doing the publicity; Joanne Notowidigdo for keeping the RSVP's at the temple; and Suzanne Parr who took over the event organization when I had to attend to my family. A number of volunteers provided baked goods and appetizers.
