High Holy Days Food Drive 2020

Help your neighbors in need this New Year by supporting the Worthington Resource Pantry!

A rental truck will be parked in the Beth Tikvah Parking Lot throughout the High Holy Days, and available for drive-up drop-off due to the COVID-19 restrictions.

The truck will be available for drop-off from Wednesday, September 16 through Sunday, September 27, except during Shabbat, Rosh Hashanah, and Yom Kippur. It will be available from 9:00-5:00 Mondays through Thursdays, 9:00-4:00 Fridays, and 10:00-4:00 on Sunday, September 27.

The Social Action Committee has organized Congregation Beth Tikvah’s High Holy Days Food Drive this year. Any unopened, non-perishable goods may be donated, but the Resource Pantry has highlighted the following as their most urgent needs:
• Canned chicken and tuna
• Boxes of cereal
• Beans of any kind (except green)
• Personal care items
• Diapers – large sizes

Still hungry to share? You can also make a monetary donation to help benefit the Worthington Food Pantry. You can make donations by check (made out to Congregation Beth Tikvah, write “High Holy Days Food Drive” in the memo) or through our online membership portal, ChaverWeb.

(Note: If donating through ChaverWeb, please include an additional three percent to accommodate the online processing fee.)

With your help, Congregation Beth Tikvah and the Worthington Resource Pantry can help feed your neighbors in need this holiday season.
