I am a newer member of Congregation Beth Tikvah and have been active in the congregation since joining in 2006. My family and I relocated here from Cincinnati and have found Beth Tikvah to be a wonderful place to meet new families and individuals alike. Chairing the Hospitality Committee could not be a more perfect match for me, my husband say it’s besherit. Planning social occasions is not only what I do for a living, it’s what I love. This opportunity allows me the chance to give back to the temple, as well as, fulfill my longing to be surrounded by the family and friends that I shared my table with in Cincinnati. Although I do not have my relatives with me in Columbus, I have my extended family here at Beth Tikvah and that is what Shabbat is about. I look forward to spending many Shabbat, Hanukah, and Pesach dinners with you and hope that you too, will bring your family and share in the mitzvah.
