Suzanne is responsible for the coordination of all events within the temple and congregational membership as well as the management and supervision of the administrative, and custodial personnel and functions. Suzanne is also responsible for the management of our building’s maintenance, safety and security.
She serves as the central administrator of the Temple ensuring implementation of policies, procedures and decisions of the clergy, Temple officers, Board of Trustees and committees.
Darla provides overall support to the Temple Administrator, the rabbi and congregational groups and committees. She is responsible for maintaining the membership database and bill payments.
Darla is also the creator of our monthly newsletter, Tikvah Topics, and many of our specialized publications. Darla’s writing skills are used for all of Beth Tikvah’s promotional materials and for many press releases.
Elaine works closely with the Temple Administrator and Temple Treasurer to insure that our monthly financial records are correct. She is responsible for all bookkeeping tasks, including contribution maintenance and reports, which incorporates all payments and contributions from members and other donors as well as reconciling our monthly payroll, taxes and workers compensation payments.
Elaine works directly with the Temple Administrator to develop our annual income budget lines and the annual membership forms. Her knowledge of Hebrew is a benefit as she prepares the Bar/Bat Mitzvah leaflets.
As receptionist, Joanne is the voice of Beth Tikvah and our official greeter. She serves as administrative support to the Temple Administrator and Rabbi as well as and providing general support within the office. She handles incoming and outgoing mail and is responsible for taking and managing temple event reservations.
Morissa is the Director of Education at Beth Tikvah. She oversees the Religious and Hebrew school programs. To read more about Morissa, please view the Religious School director page.
Rachel provides administrative support to the Director of Education and is responsible for maintaining student records, department communications and support to the teaching staff. She also provides relief to the receptionist for telephone and door coverage.
Alyssa is the newest member of our office staff and brings a keen understanding of social media and how best to use it for communicating with our members and the general community. Alyssa is responsible for updating and maintaining our new website, creating the Monday morning THIS WEEK at BETH TIKVAH e-bulletin, updating our lobby’s electronic TV bulletin board, and keeps our Facebook page updated and interesting. She is also responsible for any electronic web surveys and our Twitter account.
